We are very pleased to announce that Frank Doyle, Dean of the John Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University will be in Lima on september 3 and wants to meet with Harvard alumni.

The Harvard Club of Peru will host a meeting with him at Comunal Coworking offices located at Calle Las Orquideas 444 - piso 7, from 18:00 to 20:hrs. where he will deliver a short talk: "Convergence and Entrepreneurship at Harvard SEAS". He wants also to exchange with peruvian alumni. As a scholar, Doyle applies systems engineering principles to the analysis of regulatory mechanisms in biological systems. Attached is a short bio of Dean Doyle.

SUMMARY INFORMATION

Frank Doyle Dean of the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Frank Doyle assumed the deanship of the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences on July 1, 2015. A distinguished scholar in chemical engineering, he previously served as associate dean for research at the University of California, Santa Barbara’s College of Engineering, where he has served as chair of the department of chemical engineering. As a scholar, Doyle applies systems engineering principles to the analysis of regulatory mechanisms in biological systems. His work includes the design of drugdelivery devices for diabetes; modeling, analysis, and control of gene regulatory networks underlying circadian rhythms; and computational analysis for developing diagnostics for posttraumatic stress disorder.
